Hey hamsters, from a new model to a copyright lawsuit, AI continues to dominate today's headlines. And if that wasn't everything, there is also a pretty major Bitcoin update ahead. Sunflower seeds ready. This episode of Hamster News is bound to get your wheels spinning. Starting off strong, the votes are in and the US Senate is advancing the Genius Act, aka the stable coin bill. And with a 6830 vote at that, short for guiding and establishing national innovation for US stable coins, the bill makes its move just over a month after its introduction in a big step for all hamster kind. Good news, everyone. Openai has released its most capable AI model to date by the name of 03 pro. The model comes with the ability to analyze files, browse the web, and perform complex tasks. Open eye says it earned high marks for comprehensiveness, instruction following, and accuracy. Not bad for something without tiny paws. Mhm. Choppy waters ahead for the AI startup Mid Journey, who has just been sued by Disney and Universal for copyright infringement. According to the studios, Midjourney, also described by the studios as a bottomless pit of plagiarism, used their copyrighted content to train its software without permission.
Wait a minute. Wow. [Music] Voyager takes things public and exceptionally well at that. The technology company had a $3.8 billion valuation after its shares more than doubled in their US debut. Not bad for a first outing. Even a hamster would be impressed by that launch speed. [Music] And last but not least, Bitcoin is getting a revamp. In a new software update, Bitcoin will raise the data limit on a controversial feature to allow for more images, text, and documents to be stored on the blockchain.
But will a debate about how the blockchain is used ensue? Perhaps interesting. That's all for today. Thanks for watching. Subscribe and remember, hamsters are power, one for all and do for one. Bye..
