**Starting with Number 10: Doors**
By default, doors in *Apex Legends Mobile* automatically open and close when you’re near them. My advice? Turn this feature off immediately. The ability to manually close doors behind you while fleeing from enemies is crucial and could very well be the difference between survival and elimination. You don’t want those doors swinging open at inopportune moments. Just a heads-up: doors can be destroyed with two melee strikes or a single grenade. But if you’re in ranked matches, having full control over doors becomes invaluable.
**Coming in at Number 9: Zip Lines**
A lot of you have asked me about mastering zip lines, which can be a bit tricky in *Apex Legends Mobile*. Take a look at my settings and replicate them exactly. The default settings make controlling zip lines unnecessarily difficult. With my configuration, you’ll be able to simply walk up to a zip line, tap once, and effortlessly attach yourself. Jumping off becomes equally easy with a single button press. These settings also give you the flexibility to control the direction of your jump upon detachment. Trust me, this tweak makes zip line usage a breeze.
**At Number 8: Foot Indicators**
One of the more frustrating features in the mobile version of *Apex Legends* is the presence of footstep indicators, which unfortunately diminish some of the characters’ abilities — particularly **Bloodhound’s scan**, as enemies can easily detect where you’re coming from. The best way to counteract this is by crouch-walking or normal walking to maintain stealth. But do be cautious — one scan from **Bloodhound** can still expose you, so stay alert.
**Now at Number 7: Armor Management**
In *Apex Legends Mobile*, armor is referred to as **Evo Shield**, and it levels up as you inflict damage, transitioning from white to blue, purple, and finally red. An important skill to master, especially in ranked mode, is **armor swapping**. If you’re in the middle of a fight and your armor breaks, make sure to loot a higher-tier shield from a fallen enemy. It can save you in high-pressure situations. Another vital tip: if you finish off an enemy, it will fully replenish your armor, so if you have time before their teammates arrive, take the opportunity to secure your health.
**Number 6: Finishers**
Speaking of finishing off enemies, using finishers not only looks awesome, but it also fully restores your armor. If you’re low on health and have the chance, executing a finisher can give you a much-needed advantage before reinforcements show up. It’s a powerful tool, both strategically and visually.
**Number 5: Movement Mastery**
In *Apex Legends Mobile*, movement is everything. A cool tip for increasing your mobility is mastering the **slide technique**. After you initiate a slide, time your jump perfectly and perform a few **bunny hops** right after. This technique gives you a slight speed boost, helping you move swiftly across the map. And if you’re playing **Octane**, the fastest legend, you’ll be even quicker, making it easier to evade enemies or join the fray.
**Number 4: The Worm Technique**
This trick, known as **the worm**, is all about maximizing your travel distance when jumping out of the dropship. By slightly diving down and then pulling back up into the sky, you can greatly increase how far you travel. This is especially useful when you’re aiming for a distant location on the map.
**Number 3: Running Without Your Weapon**
When running around the map, remember that you move significantly faster with your weapon holstered. It’s a simple trick but can be a game-changer, especially when fleeing from enemies or positioning yourself more strategically during a firefight.
**Number 2: Wall Bouncing**
One of my favorite advanced movement techniques is **wall bouncing**. It’s surprisingly simple yet extremely effective. To perform a wall bounce, sprint full speed toward a wall, jump into it, release the movement joystick, and quickly spam the jump button. This will launch you into the air, allowing you to direct yourself in any direction. Not only can this confuse your enemies, but it can also save your life during combat.
**Finally, Number 1: Play as a Team**
When playing ranked mode, the most important thing is to stick with your team. *Apex Legends* is a team-based game, and going solo against a full squad will almost always end in disaster unless you’re some kind of **Apex Pro**. Communication is crucial, so use your microphone to coordinate with your team. Make sure to pick legends that synergize well together. **Gibraltar**, with his powerful bubble shield, and **Lifeline**, with her quick revives, are currently very strong in ranked mode. A good team composition could be one support legend, like **Gibraltar**, and two aggressive legends, such as **Octane** or **Wraith**.
