Blum App Roadmap Update: Exciting New Features and Future Plans
Hey Crypto Enthusiasts! We’ve got some cool information for you today. The co-founder of our favorite app, Blum, Vladimir Smerkis, is here to talk about its future. Let’s dive into the roadmap together, friends.
Hello, everyone! It’s been a while since we talked about our roadmap. It’s been a few months since we published it, and it’s time to update it. Let’s discuss what has been done and what still needs to be done.
Let’s go! We launched on April 19th, 2024, quite recently, but I think we’ve achieved some significant results. Of course, we still have a lot more work ahead. Indeed, we’ve launched, and we have the farming option—the option to farm points. You may check into the app every 8 hours and collect the points you are entitled to. We also have tasks and quests. You can complete them. We started with tasks, and now we also have quests that are added every 2 weeks.
Unlimited Friend Invitations
You may invite your friends now. This option allows unlimited friend invitations. We recently removed the limits, and now all users are equal in this regard. I know that there are people among you who are writing in the comments, “No, we are not equal. Influencers could get much more because they started earlier. Now I have no one to invite.” But that’s actually not true. As of today, when I’m recording this video, there are 35 million people in the app. I know that there are many more people in the world, many more potential users in the world, so you definitely have people to invite. You just need to think about who is not on Bloom yet and who might be interested in this kind of product.
Speaking of equality with influencers, you need to understand one thing: influencers have more friends than you by default because there is a huge community, a huge number of people, and it doesn’t matter if they started 2 months ago or are starting today. They still definitely have an advantage, and there’s nothing that can be done about it. They do a lot of good for the project, so there’s no need to be upset and no need to compare your pockets and balances with someone else’s. Everyone has the opportunity, through their network, attention, and activities within the app, to do a good thing for the project and, depending on that, receive the necessary or appropriate amount of Bloom points. So these comments here are actually slightly irrelevant.
Participation in Binance MVP Program
To be honest, as you know, we participated in the Binance MVP program. This is Binance’s acceleration program. We are not talking about any investments yet. Twelve startups were selected out of 700. Therefore, we are waiting for a decision from Binance regarding investments. We hope that this decision will definitely please you and us very soon—or not. It’s too early to speculate on this topic. Yet we gained more than 35 million users in May and June, in total, and in July, which is actually not over yet.
New Features and Collaborations
As you know, we also released a game called Drop Game. By the way, I hope you enjoyed our initiative with Pokras Lampas, our integration and collaboration when he hacked Bloom in an artistic way. I also want to remind you that we’ll have more collaborations of such kind. We are preparing very interesting and exciting ones with foreign artists hailing from different parts of the world.
And, of course, since we removed the invitation limit, we now call it a public launch event. Now everyone can invite an unlimited number of friends. We are very happy about this because my own inbox was filled with a lot of requests like, “Please add more invites for me.” Friends, your invites are unlimited now. Let’s see who is capable of what. Now those who complained that there weren’t enough invites, well, we’ll see who will win in this exciting and thrilling competition.
We are now launching a campaign called Friend Mania. In general, during this campaign, we’ll be rewarding people who invite friends with both regular money and Bloom points. Those who invite more friends within a week will certainly have a chance to receive these rewards. So as they say, it’s all in your hands. Take action.
Wallet Integration
Also, we recently launched TON Connect. This is the first phase of non-custodial wallet integration. Now you can use more than five wallets that support TON. We will be able to send various types of bonuses to these wallets, and in the future, we’ll introduce a wallet with balances within the app. It’s called Bloom Wallet, with both Bloom points and other currencies you have in a non-custodial wallet securely displayed in it. Subsequently, in the near future, we’ll also have Wallet Connect, which will allow you to connect wallets from other networks such as Trust Wallet, MetaMask, and so on. And, of course, later, there will definitely be an opportunity to create your own MPC wallet, an exclusive wallet within Bloom that only you have access to. Currently, we do not have access to your funds as well, so don’t worry.
Launch of Tribes
What else do we have? We are also launching Tribes. Most likely, they will be launched by the time this video is released. These Tribes, as the name suggests, are some kind of communities within Blum. Any person, a channel owner, can launch their own Tribe, invite their friends, and Tribes will compete with each other and receive rewards in the form of Bloom points, both for the Tribe organizers and, of course, for its participants. To receive rewards, you need to connect a wallet, be an active user, and be active within the Tribe, including activity in the organizers’ communities as well. In general, we want to give organizers of Telegram communities the opportunity to receive some traffic from Bloom. It is making us very happy too.
Introducing Meme Pad
Meme Pad is also on the way. Meme Pad gives people an opportunity to launch their own meme tokens and regular tokens. Our Tribes will be able to launch their community tokens too. These tokens can be immediately swapped for TON, and later we will add more networks for token swaps. Meme Pad will be launched in August or even earlier. We are eagerly awaiting Meme Pad, and I hope that you’ll like it too. We have put a lot of effort into the design and the product overall. I know they already have similar products in CityOne, but we definitely tried to rethink and make our product even better, even more user-oriented and user-friendly. We will definitely be adding swaps, allowing you to swap one asset for another from your wallet. This will also happen during the third quarter, which is currently in full swing.
Future Updates
We will also have MPC wallets, which I already mentioned today, and, of course, in the fourth quarter, we will treat you with Perpetual Futures and Perpetual Swaps. These are derivative products that allow leverage trading with various types of assets. These are our major releases, significant and important updates. We have moved some points in our product roadmap. Please find a link to the very detailed roadmap in the description of this video. It also includes some smaller updates and product innovations like localizations and many, many other relatively small things. Let us know what you think about the roadmap in the comments below. Overall, the roadmap is definitely quite aggressive in a very good way. We are focused on getting the work done. The number of people on the team is growing significantly. As you know, we are hiring new people through the Smerkis Jobs channel.
If you are not following Smerkis Jobs, you should definitely make sure to check out Blum‘s LinkedIn. The task of adding LinkedIn is also indeed present in the tasks and assignments within our Task Center. Please follow Blum Crypto, the third-largest channel on Telegram, which can also be found at Blum Crypto.
From our roadmap, we’ll keep you posted. If you have a better understanding of our roadmap now, please like this video. You may dislike it as well if you didn’t enjoy it, but be sure to subscribe to the channel because new videos are released much more frequently than once a week. This was Vladimir Smerkis. Please let me know in the comments below what you want me to talk about, what you want to learn, and share the questions I haven’t answered yet.
